| Prophecies of War - Part 2 | |
(Click here if you missed Part 1)
In the previous article we read about how the predictions of a little-known Serbian prophet by the name of Mitar Tarabich have been interpreted by some to have foreseen events of World War II, the current situation in Kosovo, and beyond.
Another prophet, Alois Irlmaier (1894 - 1959), is also said to have predicted a great conflict in our future that may have its beginnings in the Balkans. And it may not be so hard to believe considering the interest of the Russians and the accidental involvement of China in the NATO bombing of Kosovo.
Alois Irlmaier, born in Bavaria, showed signs of paranormal gifts at an early age, when he was able to divine the location of underground water. Fittingly, he became a plumber, but it wasnt until after the first world war that he began to win recognition for his powers of perception. It is said that even foresaw his own death.
Some of Irlmaiers prophecies have been published, translated, and interpreted at this German website [sorry, link no longer works]. According to the prophecies, at first Irlmaier sees a period of peace, then the flame of war erupting:
Everything calls peace, Schalom! Then it will occur a new Middle East war suddenly flames up, big naval forces are facing hostility in the Mediterranean the situation is strained. But the actual firing spark is set on fire in the Balkan: I see a large one falling, a bloody dagger lies beside him then impact is on impact... Two men kill a third high-ranked. They were paid by other people. The third murder occurred. Then the war starts...
A Word from Nostrdamus In an article for Reuters by Jeremy Lovell, Wille Breytenbach, a Professor of Political Science at the University of Stellenbosch and a Nostradamus scholar, said that his interpretation of some of the 16th century prophets quatrains predicts the start of World War III in July in the Balkans. The article does not quote or name any of the specific quatrains, but Breytenbach says, He is clear it will start before the end of the century during a period of Cancer. which is between June 22 and July 23, and in a triangle bordered by Greece, Italy, and Turkey, which is the Balkans. In one quatrain he mentions the Slav people. Breytenbach also says Nostradamus mentions a tyrant whose name begins with M, which could refer to Milosevic. The war will last seven months, according to Breytenbach, and will end in victory for the U.S.-led NATO forces. |
The last part of that passage seems to refer to assassinations of a high-ranked officials, which has not yet taken place, but that may start the war in earnest. Then Irlmaier sees the invasion of an army from the east, which may be Russia:
After the murder of the third it starts overnight. The war begins at sunrise. He comes along rapidly. Quite black an arm comes from the east, but however everything occurs very rapidly. I see a three, but I do not know if it means three days or three weeks. It comes from the golden city. The first worm begins at the blue water in the northeast and goes to the Swiss borders. Then impact is on impact. Massed units from the east into Belgrade and moved forward to Italy. Thereafter three armored wedges immediately advance with lightning speed in the north of the Danube over West Germany towards the Rhine without preliminary warning.
This attack does not go unchallenged, however, indicating that a retaliation could come from the U.S., followed by an attempted invasion from China:
Immediately the revenge comes from across the large water. However the yellow dragon invades Alaska and Canada at the same time. But he comes not far.
There also seems to be the use of some kind of chemical weapon to try to stop the Russian attack:
The airplanes drop a yellow powder between the Black Sea and the North Sea. Thus a death strip is created straight from the Black Sea to the North Sea, as wide as half Bavaria. In this zone no more grass can grow, let alone humans live. The Russian supply is interrupted.
But then there is the use of an even more devastating weapon:
A single airplane which comes from the east, throws something into the large water. Then the water lifts itself as high as a tower and falls down. Everything is inundated. There is an earthquake. The southern part of England slips into the water. Three large cities will be ruined: one will be destroyed by the water, the second is located so high in the sea that you can only see the church tower, and the third falls in.
Theres much more to the prophecy, including more destruction and world turmoil, and the eventual end of the war.
Like most such prophets, Irlmaier is vague and metaphoric with many of the details, and
quite unspecific when it comes to the dates for these events. The timeline could be a
year, ten years, or 100 years from now. And, of course, none of it might ever happen at
all. But its interesting in that it mentions Belgrade and the Balkan region playing
key roles in the beginnings of the conflict. We can only hope that Irlmaier is wrong.
